Rifle Hunt (Mouflon Hunt) in the Czech Republic

An intense and personal hunting story, where premonitions, travel adventures, and the encounter with a powerful fallow buck form the framework for a broader portrait of nature. We follow Lucie Horká, who runs a hunting paradise without fences and with deep respect for all living things. Through rifle zeroing, quiet stand hunting, failed attempts at mouflon, and an intense local driven hunt, the film portrays both the frustrations of hunting and its magnificent moments. Along the way, the film opens conversations about biodiversity, traditions, and hunting culture. The story culminates in a final morning sit, where the hope for the great ram meets the melancholy of farewell – and a friendship that crosses borders.
